We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Kubernetes security and containerized environments to support the design implementation and ongoing protection of a new recording system within our infrastructure.
This system operates on a Kubernetes-based containerized platform and this role is critical to ensuring the environment is secure resilient and operationally sound.
The selected individual will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to evaluate system architecture validate configurations and implement security best practices.
The focus of this role is not on building the platform from scratch but on ensuring it is properly designed securely configured monitored and defensible from both a technical and governance perspective.
The role requires hands-on experience securing Kubernetes clusters in cloud or hybrid environments with a strong understanding of container security including image scanning runtime protection and secure deployment practices.
The individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining access controls such as RBAC enforcing network policies managing secrets securely and ensuring proper logging monitoring and alerting are in place.
This position will also support vulnerability management risk assessments and incident response activities related to containerized workloads while ensuring alignment with cybersecurity best practices and applicable regulatory or public sector compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of deep technical expertise and security governance awareness with experience evaluating vendor-supported architectures and enforcing security standards.
Familiarity with Kubernetes security tools CIS benchmarks and frameworks such as NIST is highly desirable along with experience in regulated environments.
