Join a dynamic team as a Business Analyst supporting the Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS) in Austin. Leverage your analytical expertise to drive process improvements bridge business and IT initiatives and contribute to impactful solutions supporting federal child nutrition programs. Responsibilities

- Develop and execute detailed test plans; coordinate user acceptance testing to validate system functionality.
- Analyze program policies and procedures to assess their impact on automated systems.
- Serve as a consultative liaison between business and IT teams ensuring clear communication comprehensive documentation and effective implementation of new solutions.
- Reengineer system processes and identify innovative technology applications to meet evolving business needs.
- Proactively identify risks; design and implement risk mitigation strategies throughout project lifecycles.
- Deliver regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders.
- Manage service request lifecycle respond to customer requests coordinate business requirements and oversee system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Work independently and collaboratively demonstrating creativity and initiative on varied complex assignments.

Required Skills and Experience

- 8 years experience as a Business Analyst Systems Analyst or equivalent role.
- 5 years experience working with agile methodology and user story analysis serving as a liaison between business and IT.
- Direct experience with the Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS) minimum 1 year.
- Proven ability to write system requirements compliant with federal child nutrition programs.
- Strong organizational task management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with federal and state reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in process reengineering and stakeholder engagement.
