Job Summary
- Automation Support: Provide technical support for automation across lab instruments manufacturing equipment and facilities systems. Troubleshoot interfaces and data flows and collaborate on requirements configuration standardization and change management for automation updates.
- Cybersecurity Management: Ensure cybersecurity policies and practices are followed for IT/OT systems. Coordinate vulnerability management asset inventories secure remote access patching and incident response for OT/IT environments.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain instrument PCs servers and facilities systems across their lifecycle including account and certificate management logging monitoring backups and compliance with change control processes.
- Audit & Compliance: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for compliance across lab manufacturing and facilities equipment. Maintain audit-ready documentation support internal/external audits and lead remediation of findings.
- Equipment & Facilities Compliance: Work with compliance teams to resolve equipment issues ensure SOPs and maintenance plans are in place and manage compliant operations throughout equipment lifecycle including change control.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with operations maintenance and facilities teams to ensure minimal downtime and maintain equipment effectiveness. Coordinate maintenance and upgrades support deviation investigations and drive root cause analysis.
- Global Management Strategy: Identify and facilitate migration of devices to globally managed solutions to optimize workload and leverage global support resources.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with cross-functional teams communicate status and risks and contribute to training on data integrity cybersecurity and use of automated systems.
- Requirements:
- Broad knowledge of lab manufacturing and facilities equipment and control systems (PLC/HMI/SCADA MES data historians CMMS).
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with regulated IT/OT environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of GMP/GLS GAMP GEP validation and data integrity.
- Experience with IT/OT cybersecurity automation and integration technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring log management vulnerability management and audit processes.
- Location: Onsite role in Durham NC.
