Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a specialist and advise project managers line managers and decision-making bodies regarding the monitoring and efficiency of projects or project portfolios.
  • Serve as a liaison among various stakeholders to ensure the effective monitoring and efficiency of a project program or project portfolio. Manage linkages and interdependencies with other projects or programs as required.
  • Develop generate and analyze performance indicators related to budget tracking schedules and resource allocation. Anticipate issues and trends propose solutions and oversee their implementation where applicable.
  • Develop produce and distribute presentations statistics reports and other documentation intended for various committees and decision-making bodies.
  • Monitor change requests their processing and cost estimate reviews.
  • Act as a key resource regarding the use of various project management reports practices and tools.
  • Ensure the documentation deliverable registers and required approvals are kept up to date.
  • Oversee project portfolio reporting and accountability processes where applicable.


Requirements

Competencies:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a PCO role; relevant experience in project management.
  • Experience working on technology-related projects.
  • Excellent command of MS Project advanced Excel and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Desjardins or within the banking/insurance sector or a large-scale enterprise is considered an asset.
