About the Role
Our client is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager for a location in Joliet IL. The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations inventory accuracy staff supervision and reporting.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving picking repacking and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement and maintain storage and labeling systems to minimize loss or misplacement.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track orders and inventory.
- Recruit train supervise and schedule warehouse staff; assign tasks and monitor employee performance.
- Set productivity targets and monitor productivity.
- Enforce company policies and maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.
- Prepare reports on inventory accuracy productivity and costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of warehouse management experience in a supervisory role (preferred).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean a plus
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Outlook etc.).
