Job Summary
We are looking for a resilient self-starter capable to take initiative work on their own and as part of a team. The ideal candidate is a proactive finance professional skilled in managing daily accounting tasks. The goal is to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Process and correctly allocate expense transactions
- Work in conjunction with Financial Accountant and Financial Manager to critical assess costs against budgets design and generate monthly expense reports to enable a better understanding of variances to budget or vs. agreed standards.
- Maintain vendor and service provider relationships and implement 3 quote procurement process for expenses.
- Develop and implement proactive cost saving programs timelines and objectives.
- Act as a business partner to Senior Management educating and persuading them on cost imperatives and providing analytical support where necessary.
- Prepare optimized business cost budgets annually
- Good understanding of accounting and risk management principles.
- Excellent organisational skills with an aptitude for synthesize large volumes of data for interpretation.
- Ability to design budgets and business reports.
- Analytical and detail orientated individual with the highest accuracy standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and hands on approach to solve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or similar.
- Minimum 3 years experience within a Finance Department.
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP Accounting systems experience a plus particularly Syspro.
