Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities (BOQ) for building projects.
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations and contracts.
Monitor project costs variations and financial progress against budgets.
Prepare interim payment applications final accounts and cost reports.
Support tender preparation and bid submissions with accurate cost data.
Liaise with project managers engineers and clients to ensure financial transparency.
Conduct site visits to verify work progress and validate contractor claims.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms industry standards and company policies.
Provide advice on value engineering and cost optimization strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
BE/ in Civil Engineering.
5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and building codes.
Proficiency in QS software (e.g. AutoCAD MS Excel CostX or equivalent).
Experience in tendering contract administration and project cost control.
Required Skills:
