Modern Workplace Technology Manager

As the Modern Workplace Manager you will lead and evolve JB HiFi Groups Modern Workplace function shaping how technology enables people to do their best work every day.

You will be responsible for setting the strategy operating model and culture of the Modern Workplace team ensuring end user experiences are seamless secure and reliable across our Support Office and retail network. Working closely with IT Cyber Security and business leaders you will translate organisational needs into practical scalable workplace solutions that support sustainable growth.

This role blends people leadership platform strategy and service excellence with a strong focus on building capable teams clear ways of working and modern secure workplace services.

What youll be responsible for:

Leading and developing a highperforming Modern Workplace team creating an environment where people are supported to grow learn and deliver excellent outcomes for the business.

Setting the strategic direction for modern workplace technologies including endpoint management collaboration platforms identity and device security ensuring solutions are usercentred secure by design and fit for scale.

Establishing clear operating models escalation frameworks and service standards to ensure incidents requests and changes are managed effectively and sustainably.

Overseeing the delivery of end user computing services ensuring SLAs are met and customer experience remains a core focus.

Partnering closely with Cyber Security Infrastructure and business stakeholders to deliver secure compliant workplace services that solve real business challenges.

Providing technical leadership and guidance across technologies such as Microsoft Intune SCCM/comanaged environments Microsoft 365 Entra ID and endpoint security while empowering your team to own solutions and outcomes.

Leading the organisations approach to software licensing vendor relationships and asset lifecycle management balancing cost risk and user needs.

Providing senior leadership during major incidents working within established oncall and escalation models to ensure effective resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

You are a peoplecentred technology leader who enjoys building capable teams and improving how technology supports daytoday work. You dont need to be the deepest expert in every tool but you bring strong judgement curiosity and the ability to lead through influence.

Youll bring many (but not necessarily all) of the following:

Experience leading or managing a Modern Workplace End User Computing or similar function with accountability for service delivery and user experience.

Strong understanding of Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies such as Intune Microsoft 365 SCCM/comanaged environments collaboration tools and endpoint security.

Experience overseeing or partnering with a Service Desk or support function with a focus on service quality prioritisation and customer outcomes.

Proven people leadership skills including coaching mentoring and capability development within technical teams.

Experience working across identity access management device compliance and security frameworks in a complex environment.

Tertiary qualifications in IT Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Relevant Microsoft certifications are valued and supported but practical leadership experience and impact are most important.
