Job Summary
As Guzman y Gomez continues to grow we are looking for a result driven Junior Development Manager to join our high performing Real Estate team. The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth strategy and ensuring the success of new restaurant projects.
What you can expect in the role:
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Development VIC to understand and execute the real estate growth strategy in your designated area.
- Building a robust pipeline of potential sites proactively identifying and pursuing the best locations while connecting with key stakeholders to secure prime sites.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Development VIC of the progress of securing new restaurant locations and offering marketing insights that may impact our growth strategy.
- Ensure the number of restaurant openings in your designated area aligns with business targets sales performance and financial budgets.
- Work closely with construction managers and stakeholders to ensure new restaurant opening dates are met through proactive risk mitigation.
Youll enjoy this role if you have:
- A bachelors degree in Real Estate Business or a related field
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role in real estate development with a focus on site identification deal negotiation and approvals management
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends
- QSR and town planning experience would be beneficial
- Legal documentation and resolution skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams including Construction Project Manager and Design Manager and lead the project from deal approval to restaurant opening.
- A strong understanding of site layout and functionality of Drive Thrus
- Experience with Preparation of Board Standard Site Approval reports
