Job Summary
- Execute scoping and implementation tasks for database migration to Cloud
- Perform scoping and implementation activities for data obsolescence management projects
- Define database architecture and deliver database environments for new applications
- Handle project-related support requests concerning PostgreSQL databases
- Perform database design optimization (modelling advice index strategy performance tuning)
- Conduct database audits on demand (architecture review performance analysis configuration review)
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure stability availability and performance of database services
- Contribute to the evolution of the database infrastructure and participate in process automation initiatives
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA and complementary some expertise in Oracle (or another DBMS)
- Strong knowledge of database architecture installation configuration and performance tuning
- Proficiency with Linux environments (RedHat CentOS or equivalent)
- Experience in database migration projects (ideally from onpremise to Cloud)
- Understanding of high availability mechanisms (streaming replication failover backup & recovery)
- Experience with database modelling and SQL optimization
- Familiarity with scripting for automation (Shell Python or similar)
- Experience working in multienvironment contexts (DEV QA PROD)
- Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work independently and take endtoend ownership of assigned tasks
- English professional level; French intermediate (minimum B1)
