Perform studies: load flow short-circuit arc-flash and stability analysis.
Ensure designs meet technical client and regulatory standards.
Insulation Coordination Studies:
Develop a detailed model of the substation using PSCAD software.
Perform studies: transformer energization transient overvoltage switching overvoltage fast font overvoltage.
Ensure designs meet technical client and regulatory standards.
Provide recommendations so that the substation design meets the requirements for Insulation Coordination.
Grid Compliance Studies for renewables:
Develop a detailed model of the plant using PSCAD/Powerfactory software.
Perform steady state studies: load flow short circuit reactive power capability network losses power quality etc.
Perform steady dynamic (RMS) and transient (EMT) studies to check the power plants response: voltage and frequency stability fault ride through change in voltage angle sub synchronous oscillations etc.
Review plants designs meet technical and regulatory standards.
Project Management:
Plan and coordinate T&D project activities and schedules.
Collaborate with teams contractors and Aecom clients.
Prepare reports estimates and resource plans for the team.
