Job Summary

Location: Cluj-Napoca / Brașov / Târgu Mureș / Iasi

RIA Solutions Group is looking for a talented SR QA Automation Engineerwith a strong analytical mindset to join our team in ensuring the quality of a complex financial platform for a US-based company that provides software solutions used by financial consultants and investment professionals.

Their mission is to empower financial consultants withaccurate reliable and impactful tools from investment performance tracking to billing and client reporting helping them serve their clients with confidence and precision.

The approaches we use are based on Scrum/Agile methodologies; we plan revise review and deploy quarterly demo updates using a Jira Scrum Board and sprints.Youllhave the opportunity to work on mission-critical financial features used by professionalinvestorsand advisors a role with a real ownership over high-impact areas of the product and a collaborative environmentwhere QA is a key partner in design and delivery.

Responsibilities:

Design test strategies for performance pages and dashboards realized Gain/Loss pages and reports billing workflows batches and revenue reporting financial report generation and packaging

Create andmaintaindetailed manual test cases and regression suites

Validate complex data scenarios: closed accounts and tax lots partial or missing data periodsadjustments backdatedchanges and imported performance data

Develop andmaintainautomated tests (API servicesUIand/or data-layer) for performance calculation services and related APIs billing pipelines batch jobs and precalculation processes

Improve the reliability of existing test suites to diagnose and fix flaky or brittle testsand integrate tests into CI/CD and help enforce quality gates

Analyze and reproduce issues related toincorrect or missing performance databillingdiscrepanciesor broken batchesand RGL and reporting inaccuracies

Perform endtoend root cause analysis across UI services data and jobs

Verify fixes and protect against regressions with targeted test coverage

Become a goto person for testing for performance calculations and metrics across different entities and time periods realized Gain/Loss logic and reportingand billing and revenue outputs including adjustments and thirdparty fee scenarios

Translate business/functional requirements into clear test strategies and scenarios

Anticipate edge cases and data integrity issues before they reach production

Work closely with engineers product managers and operations/infrastructure teams

Mentor other QA engineers on testing dataheavy and financial workflows

Advocate forqualityplanning and design discussions.

Requirements:

Bachelors orMastersdegreeinComputerScienceor related technical field

Solid experience as a Senior QA Engineer / Senior SDET on complex dataintensive or financial systems

Strong skills in API and service-level testing UI testing or data-heavy pages and dashboardsand SQL and relational databases (querying and validating data)

Strongexperienceusing Java TestNG MavenDocker JDBC XML JSON Swagger API testing

Experience designing andmaintainingautomated testsintegrated into CI/CD pipelines

Comfortable reasoning about timeseries and historical data edge cases like gaps in data history closed accounts and backdated changes

Clear communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with crossfunctional teams

Nice to have experience in wealth management asset management brokerage or other investment platforms

Nice-to-have experience with Scala Spark Selenium/Selenoid and Playwright with TypeScript

Exposure to modern backend ecosystems and CI/CD toolchains

Use AI-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage efficiency and defect detection
