Job Summary
- Travel with survey crew to civil engineering project sites
- Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station to gather field survey data
- Place stakes at designated points and drive them into ground at specified elevation
- Support survey staff with processing survey data and performing simple surveying calculations
Qualifications :
- Enrollment in a two-year civil survey technician program civil engineering program or related field or strong interest in pursuing land surveying preferred
- Completion of coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD preferred
- Able to work for extended periods of time in outdoor conditions
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
- Availability for occasional overnight travel

The estimated rate of pay is $21-$23 per hour depending on experience.
