Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our hydraulic systems from the first creative concept to the final validated product.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Take full ownership of the development and testing of hydraulic systems and components for our heat pumps including appliance and interface with the system; 
  • Define technical specifications and lead the validation for hydraulic components systems and accessories to ensure they meet quality and performance standards;
  • Create comprehensive test plans build the necessary test fixtures and setups execute and document development tests;
  • Analyze complex test data and status to assess heat pump operations;
  • Issue clear and concise product documentation including technical reports procedures and specifications for new concepts;
  • Create and review technical specification of development of new concepts and solutions for heat pumps hydraulics;
  • Analyze customer product and safety requirements to derive and develop robust technical concepts;
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction through smart component selection and design improvements.

Qualifications :

What distinguishes you: 

1. Education:

  • A Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Physics or a related field.

2. Experience:

  • Proven project experience in a product development environment ideally within hydraulics or refrigeration systems;
  • Hands-on experience in building test fixtures and defining test specifications;
  • Familiarity with Product Development processes and tools (e.g. FMEA DFMA FAM) is a plus;
  • Experience with test management software (e.g. Atlassian XRay) is valued.

3. Know-how:

  • Strong knowledge in fluid mechanics thermodynamics and psychrometry (knowledge in refrigeration is considered a plus);
  • Proficiency in system simulation preferably with Matlab Simulink;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint OneNote).

4. Languages:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

5. Working Style and Methods:

  • A structured and analytical approach to finding innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • You take ownership of your work and are driven to achieve outstanding results both independently and as part of a team;
  • Availability to travel occasionally and collaborate with our international teams.
