Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer
Werehiring to meet thestrong growthand increasing demand across NewZealands industrial and manufacturing sectors ensuring we have the mechanical engineering capability to deliver highimpact multidiscipline projects for our clients.
Youllbe responsible forengineering and managing multi-disciplinary projects for our key and platinum customers frommanagingconceptdesigncostingdetailedmechanical designdevelopmentconstructionmanagement andcommissioning.
What Youll Do
Lead Projects: Take charge of small to medium-sized projects ensuring successful delivery to meet client expectations and business objectives.
Provide mechanical engineeringexpertisein an industrial environment including detailed mechanical and piping design development of technical specifications and drawing management
Being part of a team that delivers multi-discipline projects and developing the confidence to lead and own future projects.
Stepping into a client-facing role and growing into a project engineer projectmanageror commissioning manager
Travel to client and project sites across NZ building hands-on experience with industrial mechanical plant machinery and automation and control systems.
What Youll Bring
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering(Washington Accord).
Proven experience in a similar role with 4 years experience
Experience or exposure in project management and an interest in developing these skills further.
Solid technical knowledge with hygienic and pressure piping system design surge analysis pipestressand hydraulic analysis.
Familiarity with PECPR requirements AS/NZS 1170 ASME B31 suite of codes or equivalent standards.
Exposure to (or a willingness to learn) piping industry software such asAutoPIPE PIPE-FLO or similar.
Willingness to travel to site.
