Job Summary
Headquartered in Tokyo Japan Evident employs around 4500 people at a total of 57 locations worldwide. Evident Europe headquartered in Hamburg Germany employs approximately 770 people in 16 countries. The product portfolio includes a wide range of microscope systems used in clinical diagnostics medical and basic research as well as in various industrial areas.
As Territory Manager reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing sales in the geographic area of Italy for the Life Science Business Line in Microscopy.
Tasks
- Driving sales across the full product portfolio within your territory
- Managing your region independently including travel planning and customer visits
- Identifying developing and closing new business opportunities
- Delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers
- Managing and progressing opportunities through the CRM pipeline
- Preparing quotations following up and closing deals successfully
- Maintaining accurate records of opportunities timelines and key data
- Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Representing the company at trade shows exhibitions and congresses
- Proactively generating leads both independently and in collaboration with marketing
Requirements
- University degree (science or technical field preferred)
- Several years of successful B2B sales experience ideally in a technical or scientific environment
- Strong technical curiosity and ability to understand complex products
- A genuine passion for sales negotiation and closing deals
- Highly self-motivated organised and able to manage your own territory
- Excellent communication skills with good command of English
- Proactive results-driven and comfortable working independently
- Valid Class B driving licence
- Willingness to travel extensively across Italy
