Position Description:

Job Title: OpenShift Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Architect to design implement and manage enterprise container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves architecting scalable secure and highly available containerized environments and supporting DevOps teams in deploying cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

. Design and implement enterprise container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift.
. Architect high availability scalability and disaster recovery solutions for container platforms.
. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating with container platforms.
. Collaborate with development DevOps and infrastructure teams to enable containerized application deployment.
. Implement security best practices including RBAC network policies secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
. Perform cluster installation upgrades patching and performance tuning.
. Integrate OpenShift with enterprise tools like: Kubernetes Docker Jenkins GitLab Prometheus Grafana
. Support migration of legacy applications to containerized microservices architecture.
. Provide technical leadership architecture guidance and best practices for container adoption.


Required Skills

. Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and architecture.
. Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
. Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
. Experience with Linux system administration.
. Knowledge of networking storage and security in container environments.
. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
. CI/CD pipeline design and automation experience.
. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

. Certification in Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or Red Hat Certified Architect.
. Experience in DevOps transformation initiatives.
. Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.


Experience

. 8 years in IT infrastructure / cloud / DevOps
. 35 years hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes architecture
