Job Summary
Position: Founding Designer- TypeScript and full-stack (Python/Go or React/JS)
Location: San Francisco CA
Duration: Full Time/Permanent Hire
What Youll Do
Define the products design language and user experience from the ground up.
Lead high-impact design initiatives across product research flows and platform UX.
Execute high-quality visually clean design work using Figma.
Collaborate closely with engineering product and leadership.
Serve as a cultural and craft leader on one of the companys most foundational teams.
Help shape and later scale the design organization.
Experience
Strong founding or early-stage startup experience.
Has led a design or small team for 2 years (formal title not required).
Proven ability to deliver 0 1 product design.
Portfolio Requirements
Exceptional visual polish.
Clean modern tasteful design aesthetic.
Ability to communicate design rationale clearly.
Skills
Prefer candidates with proven early-stage/0-to-1 startup experience over those with extensive large tech backgrounds
Avoid profiles that are privacy/security/trust focused since we need a broad platform emphasis.
Ensure candidates demonstrate deep TypeScript and full-stack (Python/Go or React/JS) expertise not just siloed roles.
Figma (expert level).
Strong interaction design and UX problem-solving.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
