The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense is currently looking for Materials Coordinator to join our team in Tukwila WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Reviews master schedule and/or shortage report to notify Operations and Materials Management stakeholders of potential problems
Coordinate parts issues and resolution with a variety of organizations such as Manufacturing Engineering Supply Chain Fabrication and other areas to work towards minimizing production problems
Work with multiple organizations to determine root cause analysis of discrepancies and/or shortages and take the action necessary to maintain a scheduled flow of parts
Reallocate and/or adjust systems to reflect compliant paperwork for unitized parts
For assigned manufacturing department coordinate equipment tooling and shop materials accountability issues with a variety of organizations such as Manufacturing Engineering Fulfillment Tooling Fabrication and other areas to work towards minimizing production and resolve discrepancies to assure availability of equipment tooling and materials to support manufacturing requirements
Maintain accountability of capital asset equipment charged to the shop list property numbers and locations track non-capital equipment locate missing equipment and coordinate maintenance and repair as required
Support the identification and documentation of shop related chronic items using SAT or other means to continually improve processes
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must have basic computer skills
3 or more years of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
3 or more years of experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be capable of lifting pushing and pulling up to 35 lbs.
Relocation:
This position is in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Shift:
This role is primarily 2nd shift; however there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
Union:
This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.

Summary Pay Range: $25.32/hr to start with the potential to earn up to $54.76/hr as the max rate.
