Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service and sales. The Sales Consultant will develop in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory including new and pre-owned models vehicle features financing options and aftermarket products. You will present vehicles to customers in an informative and professional manner to encourage sales and build long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle selection and explain model options features and available products.
- Promote purchase and financing options in accordance with dealership policies.
- Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring compliance with road safety rules.
- Provide clear explanations of vehicle operations warranties and service requirements during delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation and records.
- Negotiate sales closures ethically and effectively.
- Stay updated on all vehicle models accessories financing options and current promotions.
- Participate in staff meetings training sessions and educational classes as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid unrestricted drivers license with a clean driving record
- Sales experience preferred though not required
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to meet goals with limited supervision
- Strong customer service and safety orientation
- Basic computer and internet proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
