SUMMARY OF ASSIGNMENT
Under general direction of the program administrator position responsibility includes planning monitoring and evaluating varied online learning experiences of students in cooperation with other staff parents and the public.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare student monitoring plans for online programs as needed.
- Provide individual differentiation for the learning needs of students.
- Demonstrate subject tutoring.
- Provide an educational climate based upon mutual respect rapport fairness and consistency.
- Demonstrate competency in online instructional skills.
- Develop and evaluate in terms of planned goals and revise instruction as a result of the evaluation of student progress.
- Inform pupils and parent/guardians of their progress in terms of objectives set for the lesson or course of study on weekly and monthly basis.
- Interact positively with students professional associates and patrons of the school district.
- Meet classes render accurate reports perform assigned duties punctually and respond to all online submissions in a timely manner.
- Adjust to varied situations demands and new instructional concepts.
- Fulfill job-related non-teaching duties.
- Handle student discipline and attendant problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Baccalaureate degree in Education or related field.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to develop and implement online course support.
- Thorough knowledge of subject areas taught.
- Ability to organize time and materials effectively.
- Ability to be flexible.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students staff parents and volunteers in a diverseenvironment.
- Ability to incorporate literacy and math instruction into other areas of instruction.
- Continue professional study and activity.
Certification and Licenses
- Washington State Teaching Certification with appropriate endorsements.
- Successful completion of fingerprint and background check.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a regular school building.
