Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Reports to: Principal and/or designee
Supervises: Para-Educator(s)
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited college/university.
- Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathology License
- Other alternatives as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Purpose and Objectives of the Position:
A speech/language pathologist helps to eliminate speech and language impediments that interfere with the individual students ability to derive benefit from the districts educational program.
Terms of Employment: Teacher Contract
Additional Compensation:SLPs are offered asupplemental contract for an additional 30 minutes added to the duty day paid at $5012 annually.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the USD 453 Board of Educations policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
