Salary Schedule
In accordance with Berkeley County Schools Teacher Salary Scale with verified years of experience and degree level.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
West Virginia teacher certification in general science physical science earth/space science physics chemistry chemistry/physics biological science or general/physical science for grades 9-12.
Required skills and abilities include: minimum of a Bachelors degree; state education licensure with appropriate grade level endorsement; ability to guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals; effective classroom management; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; and the ability to work as part of a team.

If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit alternative certification Teacher-in-Residence or a perm sub can be considered.
