Beverage Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Beverage Manager to join our team in Movenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon. As a key member of our food and beverage department reporting to the F&B Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving profitability.
- Manage and optimize beverage inventory including ordering receiving and storage
- Develop and implement innovative beverage menus that align with current trends and guest preferences
- Train and supervise bar staff to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitor and control beverage costs to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to create cohesive dining experiences
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any beverage-related issues promptly and professionally
- Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports on beverage performance
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new beverage concepts to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting for the beverage department
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Proven track record in beverage management and cost control
- Excellent knowledge of wines spirits cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Proficiency in inventory management and beverage ordering software
- Experience with POS systems and their application in beverage operations
- Solid understanding of food and beverage pairing principles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and mixology techniques
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety practices
- Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus
