The Role
The selected candidate will join a fast-paced team supporting a largely international client base across multiple industries along with the firms private clients. This position is well-suited for someone looking to expand their expertise and take on a stimulating challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations prepare financial statements and maintain accurate records
- Support and mentor junior members of the accounting team
- Manage both financial and management accounting for clients
- Prepare and submit VAT returns while ensuring full compliance with VAT regulations
- Handle corporate tax calculations and filings
- Provide regular updates and reports to management
- Manage a varied portfolio of client companies
Candidate Profile:
- Fully qualified accountant
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Maltese with excellent proficiency in English
- Skilled in MS Excel Word and Outlook
- Able to work to deadlines while maintaining high-quality service standards
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
