Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Automotive Sales Consultant with a passion for customer service. The successful candidate will assist customers with vehicle selection and present new and pre-owned vehicles highlighting features options and financing choices to facilitate sales. This role requires strong communication skills a professional appearance and the ability to build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle selection and promote model options accessories and financing options in accordance with dealership policies
- Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring adherence to all traffic laws
- Provide clear explanations of vehicle features warranty and servicing requirements during delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation
- Negotiate sales ethically and professionally to close deals
- Stay informed about current vehicle inventory accessories promotions and financing options
- Attend staff meetings training sessions and educational classes as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Environment
This is a professional non-smoking and drug-free workplace that promotes a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid and unrestricted drivers license with a clean driving record
- Previous sales experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Professional reliable and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and meet sales goals
- Strong focus on customer service and safety
- Basic computer and internet navigation skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
