Logan Health is looking for a full-time Cook to join our Nutrition Services team at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell. This is more than a cooking job it is an opportunity to be part of a team that helps nourish patients visitors and staff every day.

In this role you will prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced healthcare setting while supporting food safety sanitation and dietary compliance. If you take pride in your craft enjoy working as part of a strong team and want your work to have real impact we would love to hear from you.

What Youll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently using recipes and production sheets

  • Ensure meals are prepared on time and meet quality standards

  • Work a variety of assigned production areas and stations

  • Maintain strong sanitation practices and follow all state and regulatory standards

  • Follow HACCP guidelines and model safe food handling practices for others

  • Support patient dietary needs and help ensure meals meet required diet guidelines

  • Communicate supply needs and assist with maintaining food and inventory levels

  • Complete daily cleaning assignments accurately and efficiently

  • Safely prepare multiple menu items at once in a busy kitchen environment

  • Help create a positive dependable team-oriented work environment

What Youll Bring

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare or food service setting preferred

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions recipes and production sheets

  • ServSafe certification or food handlers certification preferred or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire

  • Strong knife skills and experience using kitchen equipment

  • Knowledge of patient diets preferred

  • Computer skills sufficient to learn department-specific systems such as Meditech Excel Word online ordering and recipe programs

  • Strong organization skills attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively

  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people

  • Commitment to teamwork confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment
