Job Summary
Environmental Service Technician (1st Shift Contract to Hire)
Job Summary:
- Maintain a clean safe and sanitary environment across the facility
- Support daily operations through cleaning material management and general upkeep
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of carts delivery trucks and facility areas
- Ensure all surfaces meet high sanitation and infection control standards
- Maintain and replenish supplies including SPD materials dry goods and paper products
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively restock materials as needed
- Perform daily facility upkeep including floors surfaces and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across all assigned spaces
- Support technicians and staff by ensuring availability of necessary supplies
- Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Contribute to a clean organized and efficient working environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable adaptable and proactive approach to work
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare or similar environments
- Familiarity with sanitation and infection control practices
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Details:
- Location: Modesto CA
- Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
- Duration: 13-week contract to hire
- Schedule: 40 hours/week
