Are you passionate about supply chain optimization data analytics and improving real-world logistics performance This internship will be featured as one of four opportunities during the Amgen Internship Open Day where hiring managers will present their projects and meet selected students.

About the Internship Transportation Performance Analytics

Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) are essential to ensuring reliable efficient and compliant global logistics operations. Today performance data is scattered across different reports and systems making it difficult to consistently monitor and evaluate carrier performance.
This internship offers the unique opportunity to help the Global Transportation Excellence team design and build a centralized performance dashboard to improve visibility support decision-making and strengthen logistics operations.

Your Assignment

Over 810 weeks you will contribute to a strategic transportation performance initiative:

• Conduct a current-state assessment of how TSP performance is tracked
• Develop a standardized KPI framework and definitions
• Map data sources and create a unified reporting structure
• Build a centralized TSP performance dashboard prototype
• Deliver a final presentation summarizing your insights and recommendations
  

This project allows you to engage in meaningful supply chain analytics while gaining exposure to global logistics operations.

Skills & Competencies Required

We are looking for a student with:

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Basic knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Ability to structure and interpret data
• Clear communication and presentation skills
