Job Title: Permanent District Substitute
Compensation: $150.00 per day for each day of student candidate shall be eligible for
single healthcare benefits in accordance with the terms and conditionsoutlined in the Agreement between the Perry Board of Education and the Perry Classroom Teachers Association (PCTA).

Job Summary:
The District Permanent Substitute may beutilized at the elementary middle school or high school as needed. The assignment is an 8 hour work day to occuranytime between 7:15am-3:45pm. The successful candidatewill serve as a substitute classroom teacher on a daily basis for all student days of attendance within the 2026-27 school year. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or a new teacher seeking to gain experience in a district with a caring student-centered culture and a strong focus on the student learning experience.

Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:

Valid Ohio Teaching certification/licensure
General Substitute License
Temporary Substitute License
