Job Description:
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a growing academic program affiliated with a large community hospital supporting education clinical care and research. The physician will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department managing a wide range of acute conditions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Faculty and residents provide care across a high-volume network including the Level 1 Trauma Center at Toledo Hospital and Ebeid Childrens Hospital Emergency Department (105000 visits annually) as well as the Level 2 Trauma Center at University of Toledo Medical Center. The physician will evaluate and treat acute conditions collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support resident and student education. The role includes 810 hour day and night shifts with weekend holiday and additional coverage as needed.
