As a Maintenance Technician you will provide maintenance services to all areas of the company including the building and this role you will...
- Provide support for all areas of the facility and equipment including mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing carpentry and PLCs.
- Troubleshoot problems in a methodical manner independently. Utilize the assistance of other technicians contractors and vendors for complicated/specialized issues.
- Complete repairs in a timely manner to ensure production downtime is minimized and customer due dates are not missed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on-time based on a schedule.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of tooling hardware replacement parts supplies and solvents.
- Install new equipment independently as well as with contractors.
- Maintain an organized and safe environment in the facility at the equipment and within the maintenance department.
- Provide on-call support (both phone and on-site) based on an on-call schedule.
- Documents repairs and general record keeping.
- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
Who were looking for
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates degree in Maintenance Industrial Arts or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read write & comprehend instructions correspondence & other information
- Mathematical skills; ability to use calculator
- Ability to be certified to use a fork truck and scissors lift
- Excellent communication skills with people throughout the organization & with vendors
- Detail orientation value accuracy
- Able to read technical manuals blueprints and schematics
- Organization skills & ability to juggle multiple priorities
