Job Description
As a Security Officer Welcome Center in Indianapolis IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies visitor reception duties and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access to the property by greeting visitors verifying credentials managing sign-in processes and communicating with tenants staff and/or vendors in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
- Answer phones direct inquiries and support front desk operations while helping to maintain an organized and professional lobby environment.
- Observe lobby and entrance activity document security-related concerns and communicate needed information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
