Job Summary

We seek the services of a skilled Developer with at least 5 years of experience to work on-site at the clients office in Waterfall Johannesburg.

The Developer should be proficient in JavaScript. Experience in Python and C are advantageous. Training and certification in our Content Management System (CMS) will be provided.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

Manage group websites efficiently through Husky our CMS platform.
Create and optimize campaign pages to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Participate in localization projects to adapt digital content for different markets.
Implement tagging solutions to track and analyze website performance.
Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues promptly.
Develop new websites and features using our CMS adhering to Reckitt BIC (Best in Class) practices.
Monthly reporting and weekly updates on key project

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Preferred candidates must meet the below criteria:

Mid-senior level Developer with 5 years of practical experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript; familiarity with Python and C is advantageous.
Minimum 3 years tertiary qualification in development and coding.
Solid understanding of web development technologies and methodologies.
Fundamental grasp of SEO and impact of website health on PPC. Understanding of internal and external link building strategies advantageous.
Proven experience working with CMS platforms.
Proven experience with website analysis tools such as GA4 Search Console or similar tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment across various markets.
Proactive and quick to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Must have a strong business or entrepreneurial acumen and be comfortable interacting with and presenting at an executive level.

Must have a passion for operational processes and strategies.
Able to think and work independently and use self-initiative while also able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional Microsoft skills i.e Excel Word and PPT
Ability to present to internal and external stakeholders of varying seniority.
