Job Summary
Position Criteria:
- Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
- Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Performance Responsibilities
- Duties to be assigned by the Head Show Choir Director
- Assist director with managing rehearsals and providing feedback to student participants that encourages skill development within a positive atmosphere
- Assist with maintaining the costume and prop inventory
- Assist with organizing parent volunteers for a variety of jobs (costumes make-up & hair chaperones publicity).
- Assist with design/ordering show choir costumes and music
- Attend and supervise 3-5 show and/or jazz invitational/festival performances yearly
- Assist with needs related to the Show Choir/Jazz Choir Invitational hosted by the high school
- Collaborate with the Head Music Director to coordinate securing supplemental staff (choreographers arrangers clinicians etc.)
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the District
