Scrum Master – Team Coach

Position Description:

The mandate involves coaching two teams in adopting and optimizing agile practices (Scrum Kanban Scrumban) while actively contributing to the organizations global agile transformation. The role includes team coaching leadership support facilitation of workshops continuous improvement and a key contribution to establishing a scalable agile system and consistent ways of working across multiple teams within I&T. The consultant will play a foundational role in building and reinforcing the agile culture across the organization.
Responsibilities
-Coach two teams in agile ways of working using the framework best suited to them (Scrum Kanban Scrumban).
-Help teams focus on delivering highvalue increments.
-Identify and remove impediments and blockers.
-Support Product Owners with effective backlog management techniques.
-Design prepare and facilitate workshops aligned with participants objectives.
-Contribute to the global Agile Transformation team.
-Help define and implement agile culture and practices across the organization.
-Define how multiple teams collaborate daily and ensure coherence in ways of working.
-Prepare and deliver training sessions and workshops.
-Foster a continuous improvement mindset using metrics to highlight opportunities and measure progress.
-Support leaders by advising teaching and coaching them.
-Apply agile values and principles without being dogmatic.
-Work onsite 50% of the time from the downtown Montréal or Brossard offices.
Qualifications & Skills
-Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
-Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people.
-Embody the values and principles of the Agile Manifesto.
-Ability to adapt coaching style to team context and maturity.
-Experience using metrics to support team decisionmaking.
-Experience designing and facilitating effective workshops.
-Experience contributing to largescale agile system implementation.
-Knowledge of traditional project management.
Assets:
-Scrum Master and other agile-related certifications.
-Experience facilitating onsite remote and hybrid teams.
-Experience working with data and analyticscentric teams.
-Familiarity with Jira and Mural.
-Based in Montréal.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
