Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking aSenior Accountantto manage financial reporting general ledger activities and month-end close in a healthcare setting. This role ensures GAAP compliance resolves complex accounting issues and supports budgeting audits and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L balance sheet)
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Handle month-end close and post journal entries
- Manage accounts payable vendor records and payment processes
- Perform cash reconciliations and track transactions
- Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/internal controls
- Communicate with stakeholders and support special projects
Requirements
- 4 years of accounting experience (10 preferred)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills
- Experience with Excel and ERP systems (e.g. PeopleSoft)
- Excellent communication and ability to multitask
Preferred
- Healthcare/hospital accounting experience
- Experience with PeopleSoft or Lawson
- Treasury/debt management exposure
Education
Bachelors in Accounting Finance Business or equivalent experience
