Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This unit provides intermediate-level care for adult patients recovering from medical procedures surgical interventions and diagnostic treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients using telemetry and provide advanced cardiac care
- Deliver specialized care for chest pain patients including rapid assessment and follow-up
- Provide post-procedural care for moderate to lower acuity patients
- Support recovery from moderate sedation and promote early ambulation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care and discharge planning
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Ability to deliver age-appropriate and culturally competent patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated clinical competency and commitment to professional growth
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced dynamic healthcare environment
Education
- Required: Diploma in Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN License (State or Compact)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
