Qualifications include a minimum Bachelors Degree from a CAATE accredited institution in Athletic Training NATA/BOC Certified eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa and CPR/AED certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide Athletic Training services to assigned high school under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator of Athletic Training Services.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in regards to efficient and effective prevention acute care treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injury.
- Assist athletes and families with entry into the healthcare system for medical treatment and rehabilitation services beyond the scope or skill of the athletic trainer.
- Engage in opportunities within the organization of Rock Valley such as relationship building clinic assistantship program development and interprofessional collaboration.
- Adhere to ethical standards of care and health information privacy
