Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based assignment supporting elementary students (K5). This role is a leave-of-absence (LOA) coverage position working collaboratively with a team of SLPs to provide high-quality speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K5 students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation and reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
- Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on student needs
Assignment Details:
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 40 students (shared among SLP team)
- Strong team support with additional SLPs onsite
- All hours are billable
Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation effectively
