OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

To lead the forecasting of staffing requirements againstPRSvolumes and flight schedules ensuring resource levels are accurately plannedand deployed in line with operational demand.

Thejobholder will ensure the effective rostering of all team members to meet operational demandusingreporting and data analysisand forward-plan toidentifyimprovements to coverage and operational efficiency.

Main Duties& Responsibilities:

Resource &Planning

  • Oversee and manage roster planning across all terminalsadjustingworkforceallocations to align with fluctuating PRSrequirements andmaintainoptimalservice delivery.
  • Provide the most effective and efficient planning and rostering available to match business requirements optimising performance.
  • Provide a forecast of passenger numbers and flight volumes to manage the resource rosters within peak months alongside headcount budgets.
  • Identify proactivelyreviewand implement required changes to shift patterns and floorplans in response to operational demands.
  • Act as the key liaison between Recruitment Vetting and Training teams to ensure staffing levels are effectively plannedonboardedandmaintained.
  • Manage relationships with external agency partners to support surges in workforce requirementsduring peak periods including creating and overseeing high-demand rosters.
  • Ensure all Airport Authority Service Level Agreements are met and the standards of service carried out meet the Company Quality Standards takingappropriate actionto amend resource coverage where standards are not met.
  • Create rosters for all resources to best fit the planned demand in advance ensuring rosters arefair andbalanced in skill sets and available to view a minimum of 30 days ahead.
  • Review schedules and understand airline changesidentifynew peaks in operational demandand trend failures in service toplan aheadfor resource needs.
  • Produce and present Lookahead analysis including PRSvolume versus resource forecasting to support strategic workforce planning.
  • Interpret data and analyse resultsdemonstratinga high levelof understanding of workforce management software and reporting tools (such as InformPowerBI Find My Shift).
  • Coordinate with theVettingteam to ensuretimelycreation and management of required identification passes for new and existing staff.

Reporting

  • Oversee andmanage the Payroll Coordinatorsteam to ensure accuracy across all systems relating to working hours overtime absences leaversreportingand flexible working adjustments.
  • Produce weekly and monthly sick/absenteeism reports.
  • Oversee the authorisation of annual leave in line with operational targets report on annual holiday balances to operational teams and ensureappropriate operationalcoverage.
  • Report changes in schedules that willimpactoperational performance

People Management

  • Lead and manage thestaffsupportteamand payroll coordinatorsto ensure daily resource plans are prepared in line with operational requirements.
  • Build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams schedulers externalpartnersand operational management.
  • Lead the team effectively during operational changes ensuring clear communication and continuity of service.
  • Undertake anyadditionalreasonable duties as requested by yourline manager.

Person Specification:

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong Excel skills including the use of formulas data analysis and reporting to support workforce planning and forecasting.
  • Good IT skills with the ability to use workforce management systems to support operational decisions.
  • Previousexperience of working in a similar role is desirable.
  • Capable of making sound decisions quickly particularly in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK pass a DBS check provide 5 years reference informationand be over 18 years of age.
  • This is a site-based position working fromon-siteto ensure close collaboration with operational teams. Core hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00.
  • Flexibility to provide occasional out-of-hours support during peak operational periods or business-critical incidentsand a requirement to attend cross-terminal meetings.
