Location: Ipswich
Hours: Monday Friday 9:00am 5:00pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days remote / 3 days office-based)

The Role
Youll take control of the entire Supply Chain function covering:
- Procurement & Supplier Management (global suppliers parent company)
- Inventory & Stock Control
- S&OP / Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Logistics Warehousing & Distribution
- Production Planning (incl. contract manufacturing)
In short: youll make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time without blowing the budget.
What Youll Be Doing
- Lead and execute the Supply Chain strategy
- Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate effectively
- Drive forecast accuracy stock optimisation and service levels
- Partner with Sales Purchasing & Logistics to keep everything aligned
- Improve processes reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Proactively manage risk delays and supply issues (before they escalate)
Leadership
- Lead develop and motivate the Supply Chain team
- Create a high-performance collaborative culture
- Own training development and succession planning
What Were Looking For
Senior experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics
Strong leadership youve managed teams and driven performance
Expertise in S&OP forecasting and inventory management
Confident with ERP systems and data analysis
Excellent stakeholder management & negotiation skills
Calm under pressure (because supply chains love surprises)
Bonus
- Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience
- Import & export knowledge
