QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED
- Proficient in applies technology (Microsoft Word Excel Access PowerPoint)
- Proficient in general office management and procedures.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated possess the ability to work under pressure able to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
- Compentency on CFISD proficiency test. (Score of 85 or above and a minimum of 55 wpm typing skills)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 Days
SALARY/PAY GRADE:
$39742/CP-6as approved by the Board of Trustees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process correspondence for the director of special education.
- Prepare manage and reconcile various administrative and instructional budgets including grants.
- Process purchase orders distribution orders mileage and travel requests.
- Maintain well-organized filing system.
- Coordinate travel and workshops for staff.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Perform other duties assigned by the director of special education and the assistant superintendent for educational support services.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress; tolerate moderate noise levels; work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of a computer prolonged sitting.
