Job Description

We are looking for a proactive detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to join our this role you will be the backbone of the lending process ensuring our clients and partners experience a seamless journey from pre-qualification to closing. You will provide critical administrative and technical support to our Loan Officers while maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect.

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities:

• Loan Lifecycle Support: Partner with Loan Officers to gather essential documentation address missing information and prepare preliminary loan packages for processing.

• Eligibility & Prequalification: Utilize automated underwriting systems (AUS) and provide data to verify loan eligibility and help prequalify prospective borrowers.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for clients real estate agents and title companies providing timely status updates and scheduling loan closings.

• Administrative Excellence: Manage the Loan Officers database coordinate with appraisers and handle essential documentation tasks (email faxing and phone correspondence).

• Growth & Marketing: Support the Loan Officers business development by assisting with targeted marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

• Client Advocacy: Respond to general policy and procedure inquiries ensuring a high level of support even when the Loan Officer is unavailable.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Licensing: Must be SAFE Act Compliant with an active MLO license in the state of operation.

• Industry Expertise: A solid understanding of Conventional FHA USDA and VA loan programs along with federal and state lending regulations.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with MS Office and the ability to navigate complex industry portals and data sets.

• Communication & Drive: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a can-do attitude and a focus on collaborative success.

• Adaptability: Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced evolving environment.

Education & Experience:

• Preferred: Prior experience in mortgage lending or a related sales-support role.

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
