Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5 years of experience in application management IT operations or a similar technical role.
- 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity managing enterprise applications.
- Relevant certifications are a strong plus: AWS/Azure/GCP Associate or Professional CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) ITIL v4 or equivalent.
Must-have Skills
- Operating Systems:Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux (RHEL Ubuntu CentOS) including scripting with Bash and PowerShell.
- Databases:Hands-on experience managing SQL Server Oracle and PostgreSQL query optimization backup/recovery and high-availability configurations.
- Containers & Orchestration: Practical experience with Docker (image creation networking volumes) and Kubernetes (deployments Helm charts cluster management).
- APIs & Middleware:Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs API gateways message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ Kafka) and ESB/middleware platforms.
- Microservices:Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns service mesh technologies and distributed systems design.
- Cloud Platforms:Demonstrated experience with at least one major cloud provider Azure AWS or GCP including IaaS PaaS and cloud-native services.
- Strong analytical andproblem-solving skillswith the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Nice-to-have:
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work including drafting analysis research or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
