POSITION: Senior Media Monitor
LOCATION: Washington DC

American Bridge 21st Century a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions is hiring a Senior Media Monitor to join our Media Monitoring team for the 2026 election cycle. This position is based in our Washington DC office.

The Media Monitoring team focuses on monitoring and compiling videos of key Republican targets words and actions. The Media Monitoring team works closely with all departments in augmenting existing research and looking for creative ways to use the footage weve gathered. Ideally all candidates should have a passion for politics curiosity for research and the ability to think outside the box.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Write daily bullets on a set list of candidates;

• Work with the Video Production Digital and Communications teams to create content;

• Monitor realtime interviews and news coverage;

• Assist with longterm research dives;

• Help in the preparation for rapid response coverage;

• Maintain department documents on policy issues;

• Assist the digital department with maintaining video archives across social media platforms and online research databases;

• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Two or more years of media monitoring experience;

• Ability to work under tight time constraints in a rapid response environment;

• Selfmotivation and proven ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment;

• Availability for working after typical business hours and on weekends;

• Extensive experience with media monitoring software;

• Video editing experience: QuickTime Final Cut Pro or Windows Movie Maker.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $70000 for this position and a strong benefits package.
