Job Summary
Baltic Power is a joint venture between two regional leaders of energy transition Northland Power and ORLEN pioneering Polands offshore wind industry and driving the countrys energy transformation.
We are constructing the very first offshore wind farm in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. With a planned capacity of 1.1 GW the project will play a key role in strengthening the countrys energy mix and supporting the transition to lower-carbon power generation.
By joining Baltic Power you will contribute to the development and long-term operation of a large-scale renewable energy asset. You will work alongside experienced professionals and international partners to ensure safe efficient and reliable delivery of clean electricity to approximately 1.5 million households.Youll work with the worlds most advanced 15 MW offshore turbines and define the best operational practices for a new branch of Polish industry.

We are looking for aContract/Risk Manager to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) organization to lead all asset management aspects related to contract integrity and risk mitigation. This position requires expert knowledge with deep industry insight to navigate the complexities of offshore wind energy. You will be responsible for the strategic oversight of our commercial strength by identifying and managing risks before they reach the balance sheet.

We are looking for aContract/Risk Manager to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) organization to lead all asset management aspects related to contract integrity and risk mitigation. You will be responsible for the strategic oversight of our commercial strength by identifying and managing risks before they reach the balance sheet.
What Youll Do (Responsibilities)
- Take full responsibility for the O&M contract portfolio ensuring commercial parameters including warranties securities and liabilities are optimized for the projects success
- Lead the development and maintenance of the O&M Risk Register providing high-level reporting and strategic insights to Asset Manager and senior leadership
- Actively manage formal communication and manage contract variations ensuring that all changes to scope or deliverables are documented and our commercial position is protected
- Drive discussions and negotiations with O&M contractors and stakeholders
- Oversee the obligations register and manage the full cycle of contract renewals revisions or terminations
- Own and/or contribute to projects and ad hoc initiatives across the O&M team
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing large-scale high-value infrastructure contracts (Energy Marine or heavy industry)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law Economics Engineering or a related field (or significant equivalent work experience)
- Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects from the sponsor-end
- Applying expert insight to resolve complex commercial and contract issues taking full responsibility for outcomes within your area of expertise
- Ensuring all contractual provisions are designed to protect operational continuity and the physical integrity of our assets
- Fluency in English and Polish is a must
