We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Site Engineer to support the planning coordination and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. The ideal candidate will assist with project documentation procurement quality control and coordination between field and office teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and to required standards.Job Description
- Assist Project Manager in coordinating all project activities and communications
- Review and interpret construction drawings specifications and contracts
- Prepare and track RFIs submittals change orders and other project documentation
- Coordinate with architects engineers subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project schedules and budgets and help identify and mitigate risks
- Conduct site visits to support quality control and ensure work complies with plans
- Maintain organized project files and logs (RFIs submittals drawings meeting minutes)
- Support material procurement and delivery coordination
- Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting notes
- Assist with project close-out including punch lists warranties and as-built documentation
Required Skills and Competencies
- Licensed Civil Engineer
- 10 years of construction project experience in infrastructure
- Strong understanding of construction methods materials and regulations
- Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g. MS Project AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints specifications and construction documents
- COSH Certification is a plus
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites
