Job Summary
Engineering Project Technician / Designer
T. Baker Smith is seeking talented Project Technicians and Designers with civil design experience to support our growing teams throughout Louisiana and Texas!
Your Opportunity:
- Review analyze and reduce raw data from field operations.
- Prepares designs drawings reports and calculations for the project.
- Work closely with Environmental Project Managers and Project Teams to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
- Helps to Identify improvements to enhance our service to clients.
- Collaborates on assignments as part of a team involved in the planning organizing and developing of projects and maintains proper documentation and reports.
- Assist other project teams or departments with technical field or other duties as needed or requested.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Drafting and Design.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in CADD drafting/design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Carlson Survey ArcGIS Pro software and MS Office.
- Experience in forestry wildlife fisheries botany or similar fields is a plus but not a requirement.
- Self-motivation and the ability to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail is a must.
- Willingness to participate in field work occasionally for project opportunities.
