We are looking for a Packaging Shift Manager for the following shift:
Second Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Full-Time: Monday Friday Occasional Overtime as Needed
OnSite: Tampa FL

JOB SUMMARY
As a Packaging Shift Manager you will oversee daily operations act as the liaison between staff and upper management and work closely with your team to maximize customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties
- Supervise the operation of the facility including customer-facing and back areas.
- Manage staff members create weekly schedules and assign tasks.
- Motivate staff to meet individual and team goals for sales and customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching for employees.
- Establish a culture of quality safety and efficiency
- Efficiently resolve conflicts among staff members
- Monitor inventory and maintain product stock.
- Oversee the receiving of products and supplies.
- Maintain equipment and arrange for regular upkeep and maintenance.
- Ensure that all areas are clean tidy and well-maintained.
- Direct opening and closing procedures; delegating tasks to staff members.
- Enforce compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel.
- Report on employee attendance productivity and daily operations
- Develop strategies to reduce expenses and maximize revenue.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous managerial experience
- Work experience in a similar environment
- Conflict resolution
- Adaptability integrity and safety-minded
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Work Environment
This job operates in a non-temperature-controlled industrial plant environment. These conditions can vary from hot and cold extremes. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to moving production machinery and vibration. Moderate noise can be expected from forklifts machinery trains and trucks. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Regular work will be performed near other workers and production machinery.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Prolonged periods of standing/walking/squatting
